Facilities

BUNKROOMS
There are two en-suite rooms available within the village hall building. The bunkrooms are self contained with a separate entrance, kitchen and living/dinning room. There are two bedrooms; Cuin with 2 beds and Quinish with 4 beds. Rooms can be booked on a shared or private basis.

To book contact Lucy on dervaigbunkrooms@gmail.com or visit the Dervaig Bunk Rooms website.

FOYER
On entering the hall building there is a spacious foyer from which the hall and other areas are accessed. This space can be used as a small meeting area and accommodates the pop-up café space during the library, market etc.

HALL
The Main Hall can accommodate up to 200 people standing and can seat up to 150 people (comfortably sitting 90 people for dinner). The hall has a high vaulted ceiling and is light and airy.
There is a stage (dimensions WxDxH 5m x 3m x 0.6m) which can be erected easily to facilitate concerts, ceilidh bands etc. There are several collapsible tables and padded chairs which can also be hired for events outside the hall.

KITCHEN
There is a very well-equipped kitchen with a large serving hatch into the foyer. Equipment includes 2 fridges with freezer compartments, large gas range style cooker, electric cooker, commercial dishwasher, fixed hot water urn plus a range of pots and pans, trays, crockery and cutlery. A large fridge/freezer is also stored off the foyer for use during large functions.

COMMUNITY LIBRARY/MEETING ROOM
There is a small comfortable Community Library. It can be used as a small meeting room.

MULTI-USE SPORTS PITCH
In 2016 a huge community effort ensured that funds were raised to put down a multi-use games area pitch (MUGA). The pitch is fenced off and has floodlighting for evening use. There is an array of sports equipment in the storage shed (both equipment and shed were supported by a Big Lottery Awards for All Grant).
